Larry Maleson has been a writer for more than 30 years. His creative journey includes recognition in an international poetry competition, where he received the Editor’s Choice Award and placed third.

A lifelong lover of cartoons, Larry brings an “old school” cartoon spirit into his storytelling, blending playful artwork with thoughtful dialogue and meaningful life lessons. His stories are written to entertain children while also helping them understand kindness, friendship, and the world around them.

Larry lives in New Jersey with his wife, Anna, their daughter, Olivia, and their two beagles, Bella and Lola. Many of the animals featured in this story were inspired by real pets his family has loved over the years.
